Interviews: Monday 8 April 2024 Severn Arts are looking to work with an Emerging Curator to support the installation and derig of the Young Voices New Visions visual art exhibition, taking place at Worcester Cathedral this summer. 6.5 days installation – 19 to 25 May One day de-rig – 24 June Fee - £1200 (includes travel costs and expenses) About the role This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in visual art or curatorial practice and just starting out in their career. Your role will be to support Exhibition Curator Richard Webb with the following: Managing the drop-off and labelling of artwork at Worcester Cathedral Selecting artwork for display Placement of artwork within the cloisters at Worcester Cathedral Installation and de-rig of a range of 2D, 3D and digital artwork Organising artwork for collection Documenting your experience for use on the Severn Arts website e.g. as a blog or video diary Download full details about the role Please contact [email protected] if you require a large print version of this document. About Young Voices New Visions Running for over 20 years, Young Voices New Visions is a long-established annual exhibition of visual art created by children and young people from schools and community groups across Worcestershire. The exhibition is organised by Severn Arts and funded by Worcestershire County Council.
